Research Training

A big step in capacity building of Filipino scholars and scientists is a strong foundation of skills. CHED plans to offer grants for HEI faculty who are willing and able to conduct new avenues of study..

Research Training learners will gain fresh perspective on current trends of research methods, ethics, project management, among other topics. It is an intensive refresher course covering 3 months, followed by 3 months of research writing, workshopping, and mentorships. At the end of the engagement, learners must have enough to form the foundation of a journal-ready manuscript. It is hoped that all grantees of the program will have the tools to be more ready to have their work shared worldwide.
